I love running and races are a lot of fun! I have always wanted to do a Run or Dye race and was excited to learn that while we were in Rapid City on vacation that there was going to be a Run or Dye and some of my amazing teacher friends had set up a team already!

I taught with my friends Cary and Melissa and we learned that everyone on our team had spent some teaching time at Knollwood Elementary.

It was a long wait but there were always color packets to play with.
The dye is just cornstarch so you can eat it but boy it doesn't taste good and it makes your tongue turn fun colors!
Waiting in line was definitely a bit dangerous!

Dye Festival
After the race you can join the crowd at the Dye Festival and of course take part in the Dye Throw!
Nothing like a Cloud of DYE
If you aren't colored enough, you can always do the
DYE Throw TWICE!
And then you are a true canvas!
