Rapid City Tourists

Rapid City has many fun family excursions!
Caleb didn't remember many of these places and it was fun to take him back again.

Storybook Island
This free park is one of my childhood favorites and it was fun to take Caleb for a couple hours.

Shooting Time!
Of course Brydon couldn't go home without going shooting with his dad.  Caleb was excited to join the father/son shooting adventure for the first time this year.  He was a good shot!  He was very careful and precise.  It was fun to see the boys sharing one of their favorite hobbies.
Look at all the broken clay pigeons!  He hit everyone!
The Black Hills are so beautiful!  Nature at its best!

Keystone
Nothing like hanging out with your cousin on a giant carved (with a chain saw) eagle motorcycle!

Reptile Gardens
Rapid City does not have a Zoo but has Reptile Gardens.
It is a fun place to check out all kinds of reptiles!
The Giant Tortoises are fun to touch and visit.
Cute turtles getting breakfast!
A funny looking Prairie Dog.
The Alligator Show!
How would like to spend the summer wrestling an alligator like this boy all summer long?
Getting to pet a 2 year old alligator
The Snake Show!
Our Fun Friends!
It is so much fun to see how they have grown every time we come visit.
Love this favorite son of mine!
It sure means a lot to have a great friend like Melissa to visit when we come home.  We sure love catching up and seeing our great kids.  I was so lucky to work with this amazing teacher!
Americas Most Wanted
The Bird Show!
They don't make them cuter than this!

Dinosaur Park
Dinosaur Park can be seen from almost every spot in Rapid City and Caleb was anxious to see the dinosaurs.  So we surprisingly found a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory (who knew Rapid City would get one of those!!!), picked up a yummy carmel apple treat, and headed up to see the dinosaurs.
They are so old now but still fun to climb on!
