The Ugly Sweater Party!

Every once in a while you have to just break lose and have a crazy fun party! Amidst all the Holiday hustle and bustle, we (well I) decided to have an Ugly Sweater Party. It was a great way to have a fun stress-free night and have a lot of laughs with some of our favorite people.  The sweaters were horribly ugly, the food was great, the games were hilarious, white elephant gifts were awful, and it was LOUD and CRAZY!  20 Adults and 21 Kids CRAZY!

Check out the Awesome Sweaters!
Nothing says Texas like a Red Boot Sweater!  And a Christmas Sweater Vest to boot!
Love the homemade Christmas Sweater and Earrings!  I think we are totally going to bring back male sweater vests!
Since I am a BYU grad, you have to admit that the Utah Sweater is pretty ugly ;)
You can't tell but the lights on the sweater actually work!  Pretty Creative Sweaters!
The good old Snowflake turtlenecks!
Thora's sweater was actually found at a Boutique in town.  It is decked out with fur and more sparkly ribbons than needed!  Someone got a bit carried away!  Troy's whole outfit was just hideous!
The White Elephant Sweater Rocks and it has some pretty orange tassels too.  Nothing like camo pants to help out a great sweater!
We even had one of our young men come over to check out how cool we all are.  He had to sport one of our awesome sweaters because well they are so "in" right now!
Sweater Vest and Moose!  Oh ya!
Our awesome Christmas Sweaters!  The great Christmas Flower Vest and Reindeer with red ball nose.
The Winner of the Ugly Sweater Contest!  He won a fabulous Elephant Statue!  Congratulations Troy!
Amazingly we all fit in the house pretty well!  And no damage was done at all!
Lots of amazing food!
We played "In the Manner of the Adverb".  It as a perfect game for this rather Theatrical Crowd!  We had some great scenarios to act out.
The White Elephant gift exchange was one of the best I have ever been too.  We had a everything from a porcelain white elephant, to foot scrubbers, and a clown music box.  My personal favorite was the 80's workout video and the Richard Simmons workout book complete with facial workouts and menopausal woman workouts.  All described through photographs of Richard Simmons!
We scored this awesome Bowling Pin!  It is now at Brydon's work and is the official "Stick of Power"!  Brydon was thrilled to steal this.

It was such a fun night!  Many of our neighbors who heard the craziness, were jealous of all the fun we were having.  We haven't heard from the neighbors who share our wall yet, but hopefully we weren't too bad.  At least it was a true Mormon party and everyone was gone by 9:30 PM!
Thanks everyone for coming and being crazy with us!  You are just all so darn much fun to be around!  We needed the laughs!
